Application

  •  suction and transport hoses for abrasive solids where resistance to microbes is necessary for example:
  •  rear suction hoses on small sweeping machines, public utility cleansing and refuse collection vehicles
  •  MD lawn mowers
  •  lawn sweepers
  •  leaf suction machines
  •  feed and grain transport
  •  applications where improved pressure and vacuum characteristics is necessary
  •  protection hose against mechanical pressure

Properties

  •  highest abrasion resistant by using polyester polyurethane
  •  microbe resistant
  •  gas tight
  •  good chemical resistance
  •  free of halogens and heavy metal
  •  very flexible, reduced weight
  •  small bend radius
  •  nearly smooth inside
  •  optimum flow characteristics
  •  generally good UV and ozone resistance (see register no. 28.7.7)
  •  improved pressure and vacuum characteristics
  •  acc. to TRBS 2153 (zone 1, 21) suitable for non-combustible dusts/bulk goods and gases/liquids of low conductivity. Spiral ends shall be earthed at both sides to ensure static dissipation (see register no. 28.12)
  •  RoHS compliant

Product Description

PU suction and transport hose, medium weight, microbe resistant

Material

hose wall: 100% polyester polyurethane with additional microbe protection, free of heavy metal (in comparison with polyether polyurethane more abrasion resistant, acc. to DIN 53 516).

spiral: steel wire

Temperature Range

  • -40°C up to +90°C
  • intermittent to +125°C

Construction

  1.  immovable cast spring steel spiral
  2.  hose wall: polyester polyurethane, resistant to microbes
  3.  wall thickness between spirals ca. 1.4 mm
